Fast and precise: Audi Toolmaking Division gets its first mechanical tryout press
 The Toolmaking Division of AUDI AG in Ingolstadt today launches operation of its new mechanical tryout press. The first machine of its type to be used within a toolmaking division of the corporate group will allow production processes to be verified as early as the testing stage. This minimizes processing times and ensures the quality of the tools and the forming procedures early on in the process. “With this, we are completing another important phase in optimizing our synchronized production system,” explained Frank Dreves, Member of the Board of Management for Production at AUDI AG. For Dreves, the objective is clear: “We want the best toolmaking division in the world.”
100,000th Audi A1 rolls off the assembly line
 AUDI AG has been producing the Audi A1 in Brussels for nearly one year. The 100,000th car has now rolled off the assembly line. To mark the occasion, King Albert II of Belgium visited the site in the Forest district of Brussels. Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, and Gerhard Schneider, General Director for Technology and Logistics and management spokesman of Audi Brussels, led the King through the tradition-steeped plant, which Audi acquired and restructured four years ago. In addition, Benoît Cerexhe, Minister of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, responsible for the Economy, Employment, Scientific Research and Foreign Trade, officially opened the visitor’s route through the A1 production facility.
Two new Audi R18 TDI cars for Imola
 Only three weeks after the triumph at the Le Mans 24 Hours the next endurance test is on the agenda for the Audi R18 TDI. The 6-hour race at Imola, Italy, is about scoring important points in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) – the racing series that in 2012 will evolve into the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Audi Partners with BAFTA for the Inaugural ‘BAFTA Brits to Watch’ Event
 Audi is honored to announce its partnership with the ‘BAFTA Brits to Watch’ event, taking place Saturday July 9, 2011 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. BAFTA’s President, HRH The Duke of Cambridge and HRH The Duchess of Cambridge will attend the event as part of their visit to California, helping recognize the incredible British talent currently emerging in the worlds of film, television and gaming.
Le Mans winner visits Norisring
 Audi is turning the DTM at the Norisring into a true motorsport festival. In addition to the nine Audi A4 DTM cars on the grid, two R18 TDI, including the original vehicle that won Le Mans, will thrill the fans. Le Mans winner Benoît Tréluyer is traveling to Nuremberg too – and so are many other guests who can expect a program with plenty of variety.
Audi R18 TDI in third place at Imola
 Audi Sport Team Joest finished the round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) at Imola, Italy, in third and fourth place. Only three weeks after Audi’s victory at Le Mans Marcel Fässler and Timo Bernhard took third place in the #1 Audi R18 TDI at the six-hour race near Bologna. Their team-mates Allan McNish and Tom Kristensen in the diesel sports car designated as number "2” finished the fourth ILMC round on position four.

Audi Hungaria: Foundation stone laid for plant extension at Gyor
 Audi is again significantly increasing its involvement in Hungary. As announced today at the official laying of the foundation stone for the expanded automotive production plant in GyÅ‘r, Audi Hungaria’s location will see the creation of a new press shop, alongside plans for the body shop, paint shop and assembly line. The company is planning to invest a total of over ˆ 900 million in expanding the plant. The car manufacturer is moreover creating an additional 300 jobs, bringing the total number of new hirings at Audi Hungaria in GyÅ‘r to 2,100 over the next few years.
AUDI AG: record deliveries of more than 652,950 cars in first half
 AUDI AG delivered more than 652,950 cars to customers worldwide in the first six months of the year, an increase of 17.7 percent on the same period in 2010. Demand for the premium carmaker’s SUV models rose significantly, while the Audi A1 and the A8 brought additional growth.
Audi announces pricing for 2012 MY TT RS
 Audi of America today announced pricing for the much anticipated Audi TT RS. The 2012 TT RS is the pinnacle of the TT model line, and signifies the return of the RS nameplate to the U.S. The RS nameplate represents the highest performance category for Audi vehicles, and reflects the technical competencies gained through Audi motorsports successes. The Audi TT RS will be priced at $56,850 (excluding destination charges, taxes, title, options and dealer charges). |

 The Forgotten Gullwing. Back in 1970, this car was a hero, breaking all the records with its revolutionary Wankel diesel engine. A few prototypes where built, but never came out as a production model.  German graduate student Stefanie Behringer has created this stunning Audi-inspired Trimaran. Styled under the supervision of Audi's design studio in Munich, the luxury yacht features a streamlined appearance with two outriggers that each hold an electrically-powered jet ski. Furthermore, the top deck can accommodate up to twelve people, while there are four bedrooms below for longer voyages.  The Mercedes-Benz F-CELL World Drive will depart from the Auto Shanghai show in China on April 22nd for the last and longest leg of its round-the-world tour. It will go via Kazakhstan and Russia then back to Europe, where the tour began in January. In 41 days, in fact, the three fuel cell powered B-Class F-CELL cars will cover around 14,000 kilometres on this final leg. Before starting off from China the cars already travelled around 5,300 kilometres in Australia, before they were transported to another continent by air for the last time in the tour.

To promote Akrapovic's exhaust systems while BMW gets to showcase two of their most iconic machines, The Chase features BMW S 1000 RR superbike rider Rico Penzkofer and M3 driver Nico Bastian going head-to-head on the racetrack in some fast action sequences. Just like an action thriller movie where you predict the ending in just the first few minutes, the outcome is no stretch of the imagination. However, we won't spoil it for you.  This is a rare vehicle hence the high sale price of ?725,000. It is an ItalDesign Nazca created by the Italian design house Giorgetto Giugiaro back in the 90s. It is powered by a BMW-sourced, Alpina-tuned 5.7 liter V12 with 379 PS (279 kW / 374 bhp) coupled to a five-speed manual. The car is a right-hand-drive, with gullwing doors and a top speed of 326 km/h (203 mph). The vehicle for sale here is a prototype as the model made it to production. Only 3 prototypes were ever built. Based on the facelifted sedan, the vehicle is outfitted with an adjustable coil-over suspension, a high-performance braking system and a roof-mounted LED light bar. Other goodies include race seats, an advanced communications system and a leather/Alcantara steering wheel with paddle shifters. Under the hood, the naturally-aspirated 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine has been equipped with the AMG Performance Package which enables it to develop 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. This allows the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and keep up with the racing action.

 The world’s first tuned car to meet the new EURO VI exhaust emission standard comes from BRABUS . Equipped with the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit the new Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC delivers an additional 55 hp (54 bhp) / 40.5 kW of power and a peak torque of 690 Nm (509 lb-ft). This tuning kit also makes BRABUS the first tuner to meet the strict limits of the EURO VI emission standard that won’t go into effect until 2014. In emission testing required for certification the S 350 BlueTEC with BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S remained below the EURO VI limits by 30 percent. Special versions of the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit are also available for all four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model and for the new CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY.  With the recent release of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, Brabus has turned their attention to Mercedes’ four-door coupe range in time for the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Although it will likely be some time before we see another 200+ mph BRABUS Rocket, the new BRABUS CLS is quite a car.  The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing is one of the most covetable vehicles of its time, praised for its power and undeniably gorgeous looks. Despite the adoration the Gullwing receives, German tuner Hamann still decided to take on the challenge of making it even better. The result of Hamann’s efforts is the Everose Gold SLS Hamann Hawk.
